About the Role
In Northampton (NN2), we are looking for committed and driven Senior Support Workers to join our clients’ care team. With a quick path into management, this is a great chance for people who are already in the UK and want to advance their careers.
For qualified candidates, our client presently offers three Certificates of Sponsorship (CoS) at no cost to the applicant. Please be aware that consideration will only be given to applicants who are currently residing in the UK.
Principal Duties
- Give service users excellent support and caring.
- Lead, oversee, and mentor less experienced employees.
- Make sure all records and care plans are current and accurate.
- Participate in creating a secure, encouraging, and upbeat atmosphere.
- Assist management in upholding good care standards.
Requirements
- Must already be in the UK
- NVQ Level 3 (or above) in residential childcare is strongly encouraged.
- A pertinent degree in one of the following fields, or a related field:
- Social and Health Care
- The study of psychology
- Social Sciences
- Nursing
- Guidance
- Sociology
- Development & Childcare
- Prior experience working as a senior support worker or support worker.
- Strong organisational, communication, and leadership abilities.
- A respect for South Asian culture, given that the majority of the customer is South Asian.
- Proficiency in Hindi, Gujarati, Tamil, Swahili, and Sinhalese is required; additional South Asian and East African languages are also acceptable.
