Working as a Senior Care Worker will be essential to giving our residents in a care home environment excellent assistance and care. Duties
- Provide residents with individualised care while following their care plans and making sure their requirements are satisfied.
- Oversee and assist junior employees, offering direction and leadership to improve team output.
- Keep thorough records of the residents’ development, including any modifications to their conduct or health.
- To guarantee a comprehensive approach to care, maintain good communication with residents, relatives, and medical staff.
- Help with everyday living tasks, such as meal preparation, medication administration, and personal cleanliness.
- As needed, drive seniors to social events or appointments while making sure they are safe.
- Attend frequent training sessions to stay current on the facility’s IT systems and best practices for elder care.
Qualifications
- It is necessary to have prior experience working in a care home setting in a senior care role or a comparable capacity.
- Solid supervising background and proven leadership abilities.
- The capacity to create and carry out efficient care plans that are adapted to the requirements of each resident.
- Outstanding written and verbal communication abilities, as well as the capacity to interact constructively with residents and their families.
- Strong IT abilities for utilising pertinent software programs and keeping records.
