Working at an NHS laundry in Rhyl, North Wales, is an amazing opportunity. We are seeking a laundry assistant to work at North Wales Laundry, which is located near the Glan Clwyd Hospital. An enthusiastic and driven person who is eager to work in a busy production setting processing linen for hospitals and healthcare facilities throughout North Wales would be a good fit for the position.
Primary responsibilities of the position:
- Receiving, sorting, and processing soiled and infectious linen
- Sending clean linen to our clients
- Performing duties in every area of the laundry as needed
- Working in specific areas while adhering to a generally flexible framework
- Sorting, the wash house, calendars, dry folding, packaging, and shipment
Speaking Welsh is preferred for this position, although both Welsh and English speakers are encouraged to apply.
