Logistics Coordinator – Visa Sponsorship UK (12-month fixed term)

Plessey is looking for a Logistics Coordinator to join our high-tech manufacturing location.

Reporting directly to the Supply Chain Manager, you will assist with inbound and outbound logistics and manage the flow of materials to support production.

Responsibilities

  • Receive, check and post goods correctly in SAP.
  • Partner with suppliers and Procurement to address delivery problems.
  • Ensure safe handling, storage and movement of items, particularly hazardous materials.
  • Operate forklift to load, unload and move materials safely.
  • Coordinate with internal teams to route materials and provide documentation.
  • Issue stock properly and maintain inventory records.
  • Assist with stock counts and resolve inventory discrepancies.
  • Key Qualifications and Skills
  • Experience in a manufacturing warehouse setting.
  • Strong communication skills and positive, team-oriented attitude.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • IT literate, preferably with experience using ERP systems such as SAP.
