Logistics Coordinator – Visa Sponsorship UK (12-month fixed term)
Plessey is looking for a Logistics Coordinator to join our high-tech manufacturing location.
Reporting directly to the Supply Chain Manager, you will assist with inbound and outbound logistics and manage the flow of materials to support production.
Responsibilities
- Receive, check and post goods correctly in SAP.
- Partner with suppliers and Procurement to address delivery problems.
- Ensure safe handling, storage and movement of items, particularly hazardous materials.
- Operate forklift to load, unload and move materials safely.
- Coordinate with internal teams to route materials and provide documentation.
- Issue stock properly and maintain inventory records.
- Assist with stock counts and resolve inventory discrepancies.
- Key Qualifications and Skills
- Experience in a manufacturing warehouse setting.
- Strong communication skills and positive, team-oriented attitude.
- Strong attention to detail.
- IT literate, preferably with experience using ERP systems such as SAP.
