Healing Touch Care is seeking part-time care support workers for locations in Andover and Whitchurch, Hampshire, and surrounding areas. Care visits to clients in their homes are part of the job, with additional opportunities during the week to enhance hours for qualified applicants. Employee assistance programs, free uniforms, DBS checks, and mandatory training are provided, along with support for further training.
Responsibilities
- Assist service users with personal hygiene, dressing, undressing, and morning washing and bathing.
- Prepare meals, snacks, and beverages as needed, and support continuity care.
- Help service users with everyday tasks they cannot complete independently, providing general care and assistance as part of a team.
- Assist with administration and management of medications.
- Help clients use their tools and aids.
- Assist with getting ready for bed at night.
- Offer additional work during the week to increase hours for qualifying candidates.
Requirements & Skills
- A car and a complete UK driver’s licence are desired but not required.
- Enjoy collaboration with others.
- Kindness, empathy, and compassion.
- Prior experience and related credentials are advantageous; full instruction will be given.
Salary & Working Hours
Pay range: £12.82 to £21.00 per hour. Expected weekly hours: 1.0–37.5.
