We are seeking to recruit a devoted, competent individual for our healthcare centre who is passionate about providing excellent patient care. The successful candidate for this position will enjoy working in a dynamic environment and will be responsible for performing a variety of tasks including preparing patients for exams, taking vital signs, preparing equipment and communicating with the rest of the health care team regarding patient health.
The Healthcare Assistant reports to the Healthcare Administrator and works closely with other healthcare professionals to achieve the common objective of providing great patient care.
Duties:
- Collect and record patient data, including temperature, pulse and respiration rate, blood pressure, and other vitals.
- Doing what the doctor ordered.
- Monitoring of IV drips and drugs.
- Distribute messages and documents to suitable staff.
- Pass emergency information to emergency medical personnel.
- Checking patient insurance coverage.
- Arrange medical documents and data for retrieval.
