We need an Office Administrator that is very organised and takes initiative to join our team. The person who gets the job will be in charge of keeping the office running smoothly, doing daily administrative work, and helping with team management. People that are good at communicating and organising will find this job to be a great way to help make the workplace more vibrant. It is better if you have worked in an office before, done clerical work, or worked in human resources.
Duties:
- Make sure the office runs smoothly and efficiently every day.
- Take care of setting up appointments, writing letters, and getting documents ready.
- Use Xero to keep track of your finances, send bills, and keep your books.
- Help in managing the support team, such as scheduling and overseeing staff.
- Help with HR tasks including onboarding new employees, keeping personnel records up to date, and making sure policies are followed.
- Oversee the administrative staff and make sure that work flows smoothly in the office.
- Keep in touch with clients, suppliers, and internal teams by phone and email.
- Make sure that the office supplies are always available and that the equipment works properly.
- When talking to clients or guests on the phone, be professional about it.
- Set up meetings, make agendas, and take notes when needed.
- Make sure that compliance paperwork is up to date and ready for an audit.
- Work together with outside parties like banks, HMRC, lawyers, and others.
- Take care of office supplies, facilities, and general administration.
Requirements:
- Experience in office administration or administrative work that has been proven.
- Good in organising things and able to do more than one thing at a time.
- Great at talking and writing to people.
- Being able to use QuickBooks for accounting.
- It would be good to have worked as a team leader or manager before.
- Knowing how to handle human resources tasks and processes.
- Showed that they could keep private information private.
- Excellent phone manners and customer service abilities.
- Ability to work quickly and on your own as well as with others.
