Job based in the North Berwick office, assisting the property manager with all aspects of residential property sales and estate agency operations.
Responsibilities
- Assist the property manager with selling residential real estate.
- Manage phone and e‑mail enquiries professionally.
- Maintain appointments, schedules and diaries.
- Create timetables, advertising materials and sales brochures.
- Inspect premises and collect data for advertising.
- Communicate with vendors about their property and its salient characteristics.
- Assist with market appraisals and valuations in compliance with office protocols.
- Use social media, internet portals and office advertising to market and promote properties.
- Arrange expert photos and property floorplans.
- Assemble home reports and coordinate with certified surveyors and other parties.
- Accompany and lead property tours when necessary.
- Offer negotiations between buyers and sellers.
- Advance sales and liaise with mortgage brokers, surveyors, solicitors and other real estate brokers.
- Counsel customers and support potential buyers during the purchasing process.
- Ensure agreed‑upon sale prices are acceptable to both seller and buyer.
- Keep abreast of local residential and commercial real‑estate markets.
- Employ software such as Microsoft Word, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint and case‑management systems.
- Maintain up‑to‑date customer files and records.
- Maintain client confidentiality and adhere to company rules and legal regulations.
Qualifications
