Driver of a Multi-Drop Heavy Goods Vehicle (HGV) We’re looking to add a Multi-Drop HGV Driver to our team. It will be your duty as a Multi-Drop HGV Driver to drive safely and deliver items to several clients on schedule. We’re excited to have you on board if you have a current HGV driver’s licence and are passionate about operating a multi-drop HGV.

Requirements:

  • Have a current HGV driver’s licence.
  • Possess outstanding driving abilities and a keen awareness of safety.
  • Strong organisational and time management skills to guarantee multi-drop deliveries are completed on schedule.
  • The capacity to read, comprehend, and execute delivery instructions in accordance with them.
  • Excellent communication abilities to engage with coworkers and clients in a productive manner.
  • Good physical condition and endurance to manage the loading and unloading of cargo.
  • Work schedule flexibility, including the ability to work occasional weekend shifts. 40 hours a week or more, with flexible shift schedules.

Duties:

  • Drive the large cargo van safely and effectively to ensure precise and prompt delivery to several clients.
  • Before every journey, make sure the car is in good operating order by doing pre-checks and reporting any problems or maintenance needs.
  • Comply with corporate policies, legislation, and traffic requirements when travelling.
  • As directed, plan multi-drop delivery routes to guarantee each customer arrives at their location on time.
  • As you load and unload items, make sure the cargo is placed securely and remains intact.
  • Keep thorough delivery records, including driving logs, invoices, and receipts.
  • Deliver first-rate customer service by answering questions and issues from clients in a timely manner.
  • Respect the work and rest schedules set by the organisation.
