Home Carer (Senior) leads shifts within a home care environment providing supervision and support to care personnel and ensuring the delivery of high-quality, person-centred care in accordance with individual care plans.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Leading and inspiring the care staff during the shift
- Supervise people and ensure adequate documentation is done
- Supporting the personal care and welfare of service users
- Protect and promote decency, respect and equality
- Working with families, managers and health professionals
- Carrying out risk assessments and attending care reviews
- Support when requested (on call)
- Assistance with structuring Rota
- Office admin as and when needed
- Care Coordination
Requirements:
- Full driving licence and access to a car
- Minimum 2 years Care Experience
- Certificate in Care
- Flexibility and good communication
Pay: £13.85 per hour. Mileage allowance (25p per mile). On call enhancement.
Hours: 37.5 hours per week (expected).
