To support clients in their homes, we are now looking for committed and caring live-in carers to join our team. This position offers a balanced and encouraging work schedule with a week-on, week-off live-in schedule. As a live-in carer, you will support people with a variety of care requirements around-the-clock while always upholding their independence, privacy, and dignity. The client is a man who resides in the Manchester region.

Your primary duties will consist of:

  • Giving individuals with a range of illnesses, impairments, or age-related needs individualized and practical care.
  • Helping clients with everyday tasks like clothing, undressing, washing, bathing and using the lavatory.
  • Helping people with physical limitations or mobility issues, including the proper use of tools, assistance, and continence care.
  • Talking with clients, going on trips with them, and helping them with hobbies, reading, writing, and other worthwhile pursuits are all ways to promote their mental and physical well-being.
  • Keeping accurate logbooks and completing daily care reports.
  • Taking part in training courses, staff meetings, and client evaluations upon request.

Conditions:

  • During your seven-day live-in week, you must be able to work nonstop.
  • The capacity to operate autonomously and self-assuredly from home.
  • A strong command of spoken English in order to interact with clients, family, and coworkers.
  • Must be legally permitted to work in the United Kingdom.
  • Experience with live-in care (recommended).
