As the first Account Executive you will own the entire sales cycle from qualified leads to close, selling to corporations, financial institutions, real‑estate companies, and investment funds. You will develop and nurture client relationships, drive upsells and renewals, and provide market insight to the product team and founders.
Responsibilities- Own the full sales cycle—identify, qualify, and close opportunities within 2–3 months.
- Manage relationships with key stakeholders such as General Counsel, fund operations heads, and internal legal teams.
- Develop client relationships and encourage upsells and renewals as accounts grow from £30 K to several hundred thousand pounds.
- Contribute to the GTM playbook, including pricing strategies, demo flows, objection handling, and discovery frameworks.
- Provide market feedback to product and founders to refine the ICP and vertical focus.
- Two or more years of B2B closing experience, ideally at a startup selling to mid‑market or corporate buyers.
- Exposure to the legal sector, whether through legal‑tech sales, sales to legal buyers, or experience as a paralegal or attorney who has transitioned into a business role.
- History of rapid career advancement (e.g., SDR to AE or quick promotion to Senior AE).
- Comfortable operating in an early‑stage environment—creative, independent, and eager to build something from scratch.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to earn trust from top legal and financial stakeholders quickly.
- OTE £120 K–£150 K (60/40 base/commission split, flexible to balance base, commission or equity).
