Who we are: Select Care Services Ltd is a well-established Domiciliary Care Service in Leicester, LE5 4LE. We are searching for a cheerful FEMALE, SENIOR CARE ASSISTANT individual to join our team due to expansion. There are 2 sponsorship positions available for the right individual.
Please be advised that you must be a DRIVER and currently live in Leicester postcode areas LE1, LE2, LE4, and LE5 only. Please do not apply if you are unable to fit this criterion. Previous senior experience required, especially in Domiciliary Care Home to Home care would be a plus. Please be aware that there is a language restriction to this post: you must be able to speak either GUJARATI, HINDI, URDU, PUNJABI including fluent English.

Position: Senior Carer. PLEASE NOTE THIS POSITION IS OPEN TO APPLICANTS WHO HAVE A FULL UK DRIVING LICENCE & ACCESS TO A CAR ONLY. This position is not suitable for a walker/biker, due to the nature of the role the applicant must have or be willing to obtain business insurance to cover home to home travel, if successful due to the variety of tasks this role covers. This is a full-time, permanent position and not appropriate for part-time working or during vacation times.
Responsibilities:
- Undertake all senior carer related responsibilities to assist and facilitate the delivery of care e.g. completion of care calls, spot checks, staff supervisions, client visits, client reviews, risk assessments, medication competency, setting up of new packages of care etc.
- Manage diverse administrative tasks to support the Management Team and ensure the follow-up of any issues, reporting to the correct channels.
- Follow corporate policies and procedures.
Qualifications:
- Experience in domiciliary care is important.
- Must have proven leadership experience, especially in a related business.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills both verbal and written in English is a must.
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills.
- Proven ability to motivate and inspire team members to reach goals.
- Knowledge of relevant software applications and tools like rostering software and care planning tools.
- Ability to multi-task and perform well under pressure and shifting priorities.
- Detail orientated with strong organisational skills.
- Must have exceptional attention to detail, knowledge in using Microsoft Office, excellent emailing and correct writing skills are essential.
