The Role at a Glance

Gogomadu is a rising care provider offering high quality supported living and domiciliary care services across Kettering and nearby locations. We are looking for reliable and caring Care Assistants to join our team as we continue to expand. The function is to provide person‑centred care to individuals in their own homes, supporting a broad client population including:

  • Elderly people
  • Adults with disabilities of a physical nature
  • People with learning difficulties
  • People with mental health needs

Main Responsibilities

  • Personal care (bathing, dressing, toileting)
  • Medication support & administration training provided
  • PEG feeding help (where trained)
  • Supporting service users with mental health needs
  • Cooking and mild housework
  • Fostering independence and community involvement
  • Timely and accurate preparation of care plans and daily logs
  • Ensuring protection and CQC compliance standards are adhered to

Requirements

  • Professional and empathetic approach
  • Reliable and flexible rotating shift work
  • Ability to work around 40 hours per week
  • Previous experience as a Care Assistant / Support Worker / Healthcare Assistant
  • Experience with mental health clientele
  • PEG feeding education
  • Full UK driving licence
  • Must be able to work 40 hours a week minimum with no legal restrictions on availability

Training and induction will be offered in full. £12.71 per hour (higher wages for experienced applicants can be negotiated)
