About Us

Gadgets Care Ltd. is a Hebburn-based local IT assistance and computer repair company. We serve walk-in retail clients and small businesses with in-person and remote services, including network troubleshooting, software configuration, and device repairs.

We are seeking a competent and customer-focused IT Support Technician to join our friendly and proactive team as our client base grows.

Principal Duties

  • Diagnose and repair computers, including laptops and desktops.
  • Upgrade or replace hardware components such as power supplies, RAM, and SSDs.
  • Install and configure software and operating systems (Windows and Linux).
  • Diagnose and resolve issues with peripheral devices, software, and internet connectivity.
  • Provide technical support to clients via phone, in person, or remotely.
  • Install and maintain printers, routers, and small networks.
  • Maintain detailed service logs and documentation for all tasks and repairs.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree (equivalent qualifications from other countries are acceptable)
  • At least one year of practical IT support experience
  • Strong knowledge of OS installation, PC hardware, and basic networking
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
  • Ability to work independently within a small team
