We are looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Pharmacy Dispenser to join our team. The successful candidate will be instrumental in the safe and effective delivery of drugs to patients. This position requires a strong dedication to patient care and the ability to work collaboratively in a pharmacy environment.

Duties:

  • Dispense pharmaceuticals prescribed accurately and verify that all prescriptions are completed in accordance with legal and regulatory standards.
  • Answer questions regarding medication, usage and adverse effects, providing exceptional patient care.
  • Keep accurate records of medicine dispensing and inventory management.
  • Assist chemists in preparing and labelling drugs for dispensing.
  • Ensure health and safety regulations in the pharmacy are met.
  • Participate in medication delivery when required; administer medication to patients safely and effectively.
  • Work in partnership with healthcare experts to maximize patient outcomes.

Work Experience & Qualifications:

  • Experience as a Pharmacy Technician or related position is strongly desirable.
  • Good understanding of the practice of giving medicines.
  • Strong communication skills focused on patient care and customer service.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail.
  • Experience with pharmacy software systems is a plus.
