Overview of the Job
To give vital support to people who require help with everyday living activities, we are looking for a kind and committed carer. The ideal applicant will have worked in home care settings, assisted living facilities, nursing homes, and other types of care settings. Strong dedication to patient care is necessary for this position, with an emphasis on improving the lives of the elderly and those with disabilities.

Duties
- Help clients with everyday tasks like dressing, grooming, and bathing.
- Offer clients emotional support and company.
- Give prescription drugs as directed and keep an eye on your clients’ health.
- Make wholesome meals in accordance with nutritional guidelines.
- Put into practice care plans customised for each person’s requirements.
- Help with transfers and mobility, including heavy lifting where required
- Keep thorough records of your clients’ development and behaviour control.
- Assist clients with dementia and Alzheimer’s disease while making sure they are comfortable and safe.
- When necessary, drive customers to social events or appointments.
- Work together with medical specialists to manage cases and provide patient care.
Ability
- Knowledgeable about CPR and first aid procedures
- Preferably, experience in care or nursing home environments
- Familiarity with medical terms used in caring
- Understanding the fundamentals of hospice care is beneficial.
- Strong knowledge of senior care procedures, such as how to provide medications
- Capacity to cook meals that satisfy particular nutritional requirements
- Outstanding communication abilities for productive engagement with families and clients
- Caregiving with compassion, exhibiting tolerance and understanding
- The ability to respectfully handle difficult behaviours
