We are looking for full-time, part-time, or bank-based healthcare assistants who are kind, committed, and have a wonderful sense of humour to join our team. In this position, you will give people the most important help possible in the comfort and well-being of their own homes. Your capacity to adhere to care plans and communicate clearly will be essential to providing our clients with high-quality support. This position requires a vehicle and a valid driver’s license. Please be aware that we do not sponsor applications from other countries. You need to be dependable, trustworthy, and most importantly, compassionate. Our senior personnel and external and internal trainers will provide you with rigorous training to enable you to perform your job to the highest standard.

Among your responsibilities are:

  • Help clients with activities of daily life, such as dressing, meal preparation, and personal hygiene.
  • Assist with requested medication.
  • Assure customers’ comfort and safety while assisting them in retaining their independence.
  • Regularly communicate with clients to learn about their preferences and needs.
  • To guarantee that all personal care and health needs are satisfied, carefully adhere to care plans.
  • Keep thorough records of your clients’ treatment, and notify the appropriate medical staff of any changes in their condition or attitude.
  • Involve clients in social activities to foster camaraderie and mental health.
  • Follow health and safety guidelines to guarantee a hygienic and secure environment for customers.
  • Provide complicated support (with training) for tracheostomy, suction, NIV, oxygen, and PEG treatments.

Requirements:

  • It is necessary to have one year of experience in a residential care facility, assisted living facility, nursing home, or home care.
  • Proficiency in both written and spoken English is essential for productive interactions with clients and coworkers.
  • True A car and a driver’s license are necessary.
  • Effective record-keeping and team communication require a basic understanding of IT.
