Key Responsibilities
- Assist seniors with activities of daily living, including personal cleanliness, mobility, nutrition and medication reminders.
- Support the development of personalised care plans for each resident.
- Maintain accurate records in the IT system of care delivered.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families and the care team to ensure high‑quality care.
- Provide a safe, clean, and comfortable environment for residents.
- Follow health and safety and infection control procedures strictly.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a care home or home care setting is desirable but not required; training will be supplied.
- Good computer skills for record keeping and care plan updates.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills in English.
- Ability to work well in a team and independently when necessary.
- Valid driving licence desirable for supporting residents outside the care home.
