About the Role:
You will be in charge of feeding the cows on the farm every day in your capacity as our feeder waggon operator. Using cutting-edge equipment, you will collaborate closely with the nutrition and herd teams to guarantee the precise and timely supply of meals.
Principal Duties:
- Feeder waggons and related equipment should be operated and maintained.
- Using feed sheets as a guide, precisely mix and administer the Total Mixed Ration (TMR).
- Observe feed intake and modify loads as necessary.
- Maintain feed areas’ hygienic conditions and biosecurity requirements.
- Perform regular upkeep and basic repairs on equipment.
- Maintain precise records of your feed and upkeep.
What We Are Seeking:
- Prior experience driving a feeding waggon or other comparable farm equipment
- A basic understanding of mechanics and an eye for machine maintenance
- Knowledge of TMR feeding and dairy cow nutrition (training can be given)
- Excellent time management and attention to detail
- Capable of working both individually and together
- Adaptable and prepared to work weekends if needed

- Telehandler or forklift ticket
