Take your career to the next level by joining the ECL team as a cook. You will handle a wide range of duties as a cook at our Braintree day center, such as preparing meals and menus for senior citizens and those with learning difficulties. You will take into account and comprehend dietary requirements to make sure that our patrons have the right menu options, and you will serve meals that have been prescribed by a medical expert for people who require speech and language therapy. Together with the day center manager, the cook will make sure that the kitchen is properly stocked, that we are operating within the allocated budget, and that we are adhering to strict food safety regulations. When interacting with our customers to collect orders and manage money, you will be personable and considerate.

About You

  • In order to qualify as a cook, you must offer customised diets when needed.
  • Perform related cleaning tasks.
  • Make sure that equipment is used correctly, safely, and affordably, and schedule yearly maintenance as needed.
  • Possess prior experience preparing food for sizable gatherings of individuals with a range of dietary requirements while working in a kitchen or catering setting.
