We are looking to add a committed and trustworthy Cleaner/Domestic Assistant to our team. The ideal applicant will be in charge of upholding hygienic conditions in a variety of locations, including the Care Home’s commercial areas. This position calls for meticulous attention to detail, a strong work ethic, and the capacity to deliver exceptional customer service while maintaining a friendly atmosphere for all visitors and employees.
Responsibilities
- Sweep, mop, dust, and sanitise surfaces as you thoroughly clean the designated areas.
- Use all cleaning materials and equipment safely and efficiently.
- Notify the proper staff of any maintenance problems or safety risks.
- Help set up spaces for events or meetings when necessary.
- Respond quickly to residents’ comments about cleanliness to deliver outstanding customer service.
- Work together with teammates to maintain high standards of cleanliness and effective workflow.
- Respect health and safety laws and specified cleaning procedures.
Preferred Qualifications & Skills
- Prior experience cleaning commercial spaces or care homes.
- Excellent customer service abilities and capacity to engage constructively with visitors and coworkers.
- Strong time management and ability to set priorities.
- Capacity to operate independently and collaboratively.
- Basic cooking abilities beneficial (not required).
