Description of the Job
To join our team, we are looking for a committed and skilled dog groomer. The ideal applicant will be genuinely passionate about dogs, hold a Level 3 City & Guilds qualification, and have at least two years of experience grooming dogs. Providing outstanding grooming services and making every dog and owner happy will be important tasks for you.
Working on the weekends is not necessary.
Duties
- Communicate with dog owners in a kind, professional manner and offer outstanding customer service.
- To ascertain particular grooming requirements and preferences, speak with the owners.
- Perform all aspects of grooming, such as brushing, shaving, styling, and bathing.
- Keep your dog’s surroundings peaceful and safe at all times.
- Maintain the salon’s order, cleanliness, and adherence to safety and health regulations.
- Assist the team by helping with record keeping, stock checks, and salon operations.
Experience
- Professional dog grooming experience of at least two years.
- The capacity to provide excellent grooming for a broad range of breeds.
- Have outstanding communication and listening abilities.
- Capable of working both independently and in a team.
- Able to finish at least three complete grooms in a single day.
- Certification in first aid for pets is preferred.
