To ensure that we create a platform that can serve hundreds of Fortune 500 companies at once, as our first Data Engineer, you will collaborate closely with AI engineers, product teams, and domain experts to convert unstructured supply chain data into dependable, actionable insights that inform decision-making across our platform.
You will be building the data foundation for autonomous agents to think, plan, and act in intricate, high-stakes situations. This is an opportunity to work on extremely technical problems with practical implications at scale.
In this position, you’ll:- Create and manage ingestion pipelines that handle large amounts of data from international procurement and supply chain platforms.
- Define, develop, and oversee data schemas and catalogues, from feature stores and raw staging to superior analytics.
- Create observability and end-to-end monitoring for your pipelines, taking ownership of data completeness, latency, quality, and lineage at every turn.
- Encourage safe, controlled data practices
- Work collaboratively with the Platform, Product, and AI teams to provision feature tables, data sets, and contracts for large-scale analytics and machine learning.
- You have worked with tech and product-driven businesses, where you were heavily involved in data quality, data operations, and large-scale data management.
- You’ve developed lakehouses and data warehouses before.
- You can choose and apply the best tools for our use case because you have experience with a range of data stack tools.
- You have a strong desire to create and execute data solutions. from beginning to end
- You feel at ease overseeing your own integrations and CI/CD.
