About Just Padel

Just Padel runs padel venues, delivering the fast-growing sport to players of all abilities.

The Blackpool location is a crucial part of our business and we are looking for a driven and people focused Club Manager to take control of the site - growing our client base, improving our partnerships and ensuring the facility is always performing at its best.

The Section

You will be responsible for the day-to-day running and expansion of the Blackpool site as Club Manager.

You'll be the face of Just Padel in the local area - creating strong relationships with our sponsors and customers, filling up courts during slow times, bringing on new partners and arranging events that put us on the map.

You will also maintain our social media and ensure the website is always up to standard.

This is a hands-on leadership role for a commercially focused person who loves establishing a community.

  • The Essential Duties Are
  • Relationship management: Develop and sustain positive connections with our sponsored businesses and our consumers, ensuring that both parties feel valued and cared for.
  • Maximise off-peak reservations: Drive off-peak bookings with targeted offers, promotions, programmes and outreach to ensure the courts are active throughout the day.
  • Develop sponsorship and collaborations: Reach out to new sponsors, local businesses and schools to form partnerships and attract additional players to the club.
  • Host and organise activities on site - tournaments, social nights, open days and partner events - to build the community and the brand.
  • Social Media: Manage the social media channels of the site, creating interesting material to promote sessions, events and offers.
  • Business expansion: Identify opportunities to grow the business, generate sales and raise the profile of Just Padel Blackpool.
  • Site standards: Keep the Blackpool site clean, safe, well maintained and up to standard for customers & partners at all times.
  • What We Want
  • Experience in the leisure business (sports, fitness, hotel or similar) is desirable but not essential.
  • A guide to padel.
  • A commercial, growth attitude with a goal to maximise bookings and revenue.
  • Ability to create strong relationships and excellent communication skills with clients and partners.
  • The confidence to approach new sponsors, businesses and schools.
  • Experience of organising and hosting events.
  • Experience in running social media and branding.
  • Well organised, self-motivated and competent to autonomously administer a location.
  • Good to Have
  • Experience of running a venue, club or multi-staff site.
  • A network of local business or community contacts in the Blackpool area.
  • Experience in playing or coaching padel.
