Principal Duties:
Leadership & Coordination of Care:
- Develop, oversee, and uphold effective staff schedules for every client, guaranteeing that every care visit is handled without a hitch.
- Serve as our team of care assistants’ primary point of contact, offering them leadership, support, and direction on a regular basis.
- Support the hiring, onboarding, and training of new care providers, creating a knowledgeable and encouraging team atmosphere.
- To guarantee a coordinated approach to care, communicate with family members and medical professionals (such as district nurses and general practitioners) with confidence.
Active Community Support:
- To guarantee a warm welcome and a seamless beginning to their care journey, conduct initial assessments and onboarding for new residents/clients.
- To cover visits, establish rapport, and set an example, offer clients in the community practical personal care and support.
- To keep an eye on the standard of care given, do routine spot checks in customers’ homes.
Operational and On-Call Duty:
- Take part in the on-call schedule to offer customers and care personnel immediate assistance and guidance beyond business hours.
- Maintain and update client care records accurately while adhering to CQC guidelines.
Essential Requirements:
- A recognised Level 3 Diploma in Health and Social Care, or above, is required.
- At least two years of experience providing home care in the United Kingdom.
- Demonstrated expertise in delivering direct personal care is crucial.
- Possession of your own car and a valid UK driver’s license.
- Outstanding communication and organisational abilities.
