As a Shift Manager at Papa John’s, you will be in charge of managing the day-to-day operations of the business during your shift. You will manage a team of pizza makers, delivery drivers and customer support representatives to provide the best possible level of service and product delivery to our consumers.

Duties

  • Supervise and coordinate all store activities throughout assigned shifts.
  • Ensure all team members follow Papa John’s operational and food safety requirements.
  • Control, manage and report on the daily stock of all food and beverage items.
  • Correctly check and store food delivery.
  • Daily control of costs to affect the profitability of the store.
  • Ensure favourable brand image and service standards, including uniform/presentation standards and our philosophy on customer service.
  • Train and develop team members to produce great customer service and quality product.
  • Answer client questions, complaints and concerns in a professional and timely manner.
  • Provide support with scheduling and management of labour to guarantee adequate staffing levels.
  • Promote Papa John’s products and services to create sales.
  • Maintain Papa John’s standards for the brand at all times.
  • Perform opening and closing chores as needed.
  • Keep a neat and tidy work area.
  • KPI compliance management.

Requirements

  • Previous supervisory or management experience, ideally in the food service business.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills.
  • Ability to multi-task and work in a fast paced atmosphere.
  • Good Customer Service Skills.
  • Basic math abilities and experience with cash transactions.
  • Able to work evenings, weekends and Bank Holidays if required.
  • Punctual and dependable at all times.
  • Food Safety Certification (or willingness to acquire upon hire).
