Duties
- Build walls, arches, and other constructions by laying bricks, blocks, and stones.
- To guarantee exact fit, measure and cut the materials.
- As needed, combine mortar with additional bonding agents.
- Effectively use power and hand tools for a variety of masonry applications.
- To finish projects quickly, cooperate with carpenters and other craftspeople.
- Verify finished work for quality control and adherence to requirements.
- Keep your workplace tidy and secure at all times.
- As necessary, make repairs to existing buildings.
Qualifications
- Prior masonry or bricklaying experience is required.
- Adept at using power and manual tools that are necessary for masonry work.
- The capacity to accurately read technical drawings and blueprints.
