Overview of the Job

We are looking to add a talented bricklayer to our crew. The ideal applicant will have a solid foundation in bricklaying and masonry and be skilled with both manual and power tools. This position include building, fixing, and maintaining brick, stone, and other material constructions. The chosen candidate will be in charge of maintaining safety regulations while guaranteeing excellent craftsmanship.

Duties

  • Build walls, arches, and other constructions by laying bricks, blocks, and stones.
  • To guarantee exact fit, measure and cut the materials.
  • As needed, combine mortar with additional bonding agents.
  • Effectively use power and hand tools for a variety of masonry applications.
  • To finish projects quickly, cooperate with carpenters and other craftspeople.
  • Verify finished work for quality control and adherence to requirements.
  • Keep your workplace tidy and secure at all times.
  • As necessary, make repairs to existing buildings.

Qualifications

  • Prior masonry or bricklaying experience is required.
  • Adept at using power and manual tools that are necessary for masonry work.
  • The capacity to accurately read technical drawings and blueprints.
  • Strong focus on details and dedication to fine craftsmanship.
  • Endurance to carry out manual labour for prolonged periods of time.
  • Awareness of the safety rules pertaining to building sites.
