We are looking for committed and caring Care Assistants/Support Workers to join our team. This position entails giving people excellent care and assistance in a variety of settings, such as assisted living facilities and home care settings. The ideal applicant will have outstanding communication skills, a compassionate disposition, and the capacity to operate both independently and collaboratively. Although not necessary, prior caregiving experience is beneficial because complete training will be given. This job gives you the chance to improve people’s lives while honing your talents in the field of health and social care.

Responsibilities:

  • Helping customers with everyday tasks like personal hygiene, mobility, and medication administration.
  • Assisting people in maintaining their well-being and freedom in accordance with individualised care plans.
  • Effectively communicating with customers, their families, and coworkers to guarantee compassionate and consistent care.
  • Using IT technologies to accurately record care given while abiding by organisational standards.
  • Helping with household chores like laundry, minor cleaning, and meal preparation.
  • When necessary, transporting customers to social events or appointments.
  • Ensuring a secure atmosphere by adhering to health and safety protocols and promptly reporting any issues.

Requirements:

  • Prior experience working in a care facility or giving in-home care is preferred; successful applicants will receive comprehensive training.
  • For positions involving client transportation, a valid driver’s licence is advantageous.
  • Strong organisational abilities and the capacity to precisely adhere to care plans.
  • Excellent written and verbal English communication abilities.
  • IT proficiency for record-keeping and documentation.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and a kind, understanding approach to clients.
  • Flexibility in working different shifts, such as mornings, afternoons, or evenings, as needed.

After the probationary period, qualified candidates may be eligible for sponsorship.

Pay Range: £13.50 to £14.00 per hour
