We need a Barman who is passionate about their work and has a lot of expertise. The best applicant will know a lot about cocktails and mixing drinks and be able to operate well in a busy restaurant or bar. This job needs someone who is proud of their work, keeps high standards, and is a good team player. You will be in charge of making good cocktails, keeping the bar stocked and organised, and helping the crew during service. Being flexible is vital because you could also have to help with bar back tasks when needed.
Main Duties
- Make and serve both classic and modern drinks at a high standard.
- Keep the bar clean, tidy and well-stocked.
- When needed, help the bar staff with bar back responsibilities.
- Follow the restaurant’s service standards and make sure that service is quick even when it’s busy.
- Label and date ingredients and things that have been made correctly.
- Be wary of food and drink sensitivities and observe safe handling rules.
Needs
- At least one year of experience working as a barman at a fine dining restaurant or cocktail bar.
- A lot of information about cocktails, how to prepare drinks, and how bars work.
- Knowledge on how to be alert of allergies, keep food safe, and date ingredients.
- Ability to work with a team in a fast-paced setting.
- Willingness to help with bar back tasks when needed.
