We are looking for a strong and high energy leader to take the helm of our company as a General Manager & Head Chef. It’s a special two-sided career for a culinary specialist who thrives on the rush of the kitchen but also has the keen business sense to operate a successful front of house operation.

If you are a culinary specialist who can develop a spectacular menu, manage food expenditures, oversee a kitchen crew and step out to make sure our guests are having an exceptional dining experience we want to hear from you.

Main Responsibilities
  • Culinary & Back of House (BOH)
    • Manage all culinary operations, maintaining the highest levels of food quality, presentation and consistency.
    • Develop, execute and maintain seasonal menus with correct recipe costs.
    • Control food and labour expenses through inventory and supply ordering and strong vendor relationships.
    • Recruit, train, coach and schedule kitchen workers to build a good and productive team atmosphere.
    • Maintain full compliance with health, safety and sanitation laws.
  • Management & Front of House (FOH)
    • Supervise daily business operations including guest interactions, employment and financial performance.
    • Maximise profitability through labour management, waste reduction and marketing programs.
    • Train FOH team on menu knowledge, hospitality standards and upselling strategies.
    • Be gracious and professional while dealing with consumer criticism. Turn first time customers into regular customers.
    • Manage P&L statements, budgets and administrative tasks (payroll approval, cash handling, etc.).
Skills & Qualifications
  • Experience: Minimum 3 years’ experience as a Head Chef, Kitchen Manager or Restaurant General Manager. Experience in managing both sides of the house is strongly preferred.
  • Leadership: Demonstrated ability to lead, motivate and develop a diverse team.
  • Financial Acumen: Strong understanding of restaurant financials, including P&L management, food cost tracking, and labour optimisation.
  • Certifications: ServSafe Manager certification (or equivalent state food safety certification) necessary.
  • Flexibility: Ability to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends and holidays.
  • Physical Stamina: Must be able to stand for lengthy periods of time and lift up to 50 lbs.
