Job Details Employer: Somerset NHS Foundation Trust Exact location: Somerton Salary: £25760.00 - 27476.00 per annum Working hours: 24 hour rotational shift pattern encompassing nights, weekends and bank holidays
Job duties:
- Build positive, therapeutic interactions with patients and help them to recovery
- Assisting patients with daily living activities, personal care, nutrition, well-being and independence
- Work with nurses, occupational therapists and the larger multi disciplinary team to give high quality, person orientated care.
Requirements:
- Must be willing to work toward NVQ level 3 in direct care or Certificate in Care if not previously held
- Experience of working in a caring, supportive or people orientated position
- An interest in people and personalities
- Can generate ideas for activities
- An awareness of danger.
