Prepare rotas and monitor performance.* Set and achieve sales targets Plan promotions, product displays and seasonal offers to boost sales and profitability.* Manage stock levels, ordering, stock rotation and liaise with suppliers on timely refilling.* Reduce waste and shrink.* Ensure compliance with food safety, cleanliness, health and safety and trading standards rules including halal sourcing and labelling requirements.* Supervise store budgeting, cash management, banking and daily/weekly financial reporting.* Handle online ordering, picking, cold packaging, delivery scheduling and click and collect services.* Respond to consumer questions and complaints in a professional and timely manner.* Maintain a high standard of store cleanliness, product quality and presentation.* Report on sales margins and performance to the Director.### Requirements* Minimum 2 years experience in retail, supermarket or grocery management.* Good leadership and people management skills.* Experience in stock control, ordering and supplier management.* Good grasp of food safety and hygiene legislation.* Level 2 or Level 3 Food Hygiene Certificate recommended.* Ability to handle cash, budgeting and basic financial reporting confidently.* Good communication and customer service abilities.* Knowledge of halal food standards and Asian or Afro-Caribbean grocery products is desirable.* Good IT skills including EPOS systems.
