Job Summary
We’re looking for an experienced Baker to join our team. You are a Baker and you will be making and baking a range of tasty baked products. Your skills in food preparation and culinary techniques would be a great asset to our bakery.
Responsibilities:
- Follow directions and ensure that all ingredients are measured correctly
- Operate and maintain the baking equipment including ovens, mixers and dough sheeters
- Observe baking process to make sure items are done to perfection
- Decorate and garnish baked products as required
- Adhere to food safety and sanitation regulations
- Work with other kitchen personnel to organise baking schedules and production needs
- Help with inventory control and supply ordering as required
Skills:
- Knowledge of restaurant or commercial kitchen operations
- Knowledge of food preparation procedures including baking, cooking
- Knowledge of different baking techniques and methods
- Understanding of food production processes and quality control standards
- Knowledge of food safety standards and best practices
- Ability to accurately follow recipes and consistently produce high‑quality baked goods
- Attention to detail and organisational skills
