Job Responsibilities
- Manage and encourage a team of Travel Consultants to produce excellent customer service and meet sales targets
- Develop and implement solutions to increase customer satisfaction and improve operational efficiency
- Manage the booking process to make sure the right and on-time arrangements for flights, hotels, tours and transportation
- Build solid ties with hotel partners and vendors to get the greatest pricing and unique offers
- Provide expert recommendations of vacation destinations, lodgings & activities based on customer preferences
- Stay current with new travel products, safety requirements, and hospitality standards
- Track industry developments
- Respond to escalated client enquiries or issues in a timely manner to ensure favourable resolutions and repeat business.
- Strong expertise in hotel or hospitality management in a travel agency or similar setting
- Strong leadership skills to energise and build a team of travel professionals
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities to develop relationships with clients and partners
- Comprehensive understanding of hotel management, travel booking engines and hospitality services
- Great eye for detail and ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
- Passion for travel, cultural awareness and delivering unforgettable customer experience
