We’re looking for a Duty Manager who’s ready to take full ownership of our Rose Street site during their shift. This is your chance to make The Loft your own, under the guidance of our General and Assistant Managers, while creating a space you’re proud of and guests love.

- Keep housekeeping standards high and maintain a tidy, inviting environment.
- Handle admin tasks for our busier sister site, The Court.

Who You Are
You’re the one who makes it happen. As the duty manager you guide the team, solve problems on the fly, and keep standards high. When you're on shift, you’re the one that sets the tone and drives the experience.
Experience preferred in:
- Leading teams and managing shifts to ensure smooth daily operations across multiple service areas, including reception, coffee service, and food & beverage delivery.
- Proven ability to coordinate staff, maintain high service standards, and respond effectively to dynamic operational needs.

Role and Responsibilities
As a Duty Manager you will:
- Act as the lead on shift, leading by example and ensuring smooth operations.
- Support, motivate, and guide the team to deliver excellence in service and standards.
- Take responsibility for health & safety, guest satisfaction, and operational checklists during your shift.
- Resolve issues confidently and efficiently, ensuring every guest leaves happy.
Front of House
- Welcome and look after our guests.
- Manage check‑ins, check‑outs, and reservations.
- Lead Food & Beverage service (including barista coffee, bar work, food running, and upselling).
- Support and oversee events and guest activities.
- Ensure accurate reporting (logbooks, payments, lost property, maintenance requests).
Housekeeping & Building Care
- Supervise and support the housekeeping team to maintain the highest standards of cleanliness.
- Help with linen management, room turnaround, and communal area standards.
- Ensure the property is safe, secure, and well maintained.
- Report maintenance issues and guest feedback promptly.
