This role is a great opportunity for an enthusiastic and capable individual to gain valuable work experience in one of the fastest growing and high-profile companies in the ski travel industry, and at the same time working in one of the world’s most renowned Ski resorts. For each group, the inspireski representative will help to ensure the trip runs smoothly and excellent customer services is provided.

Key Details

  • Location – Ideally based in London, Manchester, Birmingham and Cardiff areas (Due to convenience for travel locations)
  • Pay – £475 block payment for standard tour with travel, accommodation, meals, ski hire & ski passes included (minimum of 4 hours per day time with school or independently)
  • Tour Duration – Tours range from 7 days (mainly travel at weekend) to 9 days for longer tours
  • Key Destinations – Italy, Austria, Spain, Andorra, Norway, US & Canada – to name a few
  • DBS check – Enhanced DBS check (cost covered by company) if successful

The main requirement for this role is to be the contact for the party leader throughout the tour to answer any queries & resolve any issues with support from the operations team.

Responsibilities

  • Meet and greet the tour at the school, airport and/or ski resort
  • Accompany the school for the duration of the ski tour, providing advice and guidance throughout the pre-planned tour itinerary
  • Coordinate check-ins at hotels, ski hire, ski lessons, ski lift pass & any booked apres-ski activities
  • Be the first point of contact with the travelling group and their party leader
  • Ensure the overall smooth running of the tour providing support and solving situations that may occur on the way or whilst on tour
  • Ensure good relations with party leaders, teachers, students and local suppliers at all times
  • Be aware of the full itinerary, activities, ski lessons, accommodation and schedule timings

Qualifications & Attributes

  • Have a passion & keen interest in ski/travel
  • Be proactive with the ability to organise and prioritise work efficiently and effectively
  • Be enthusiastic, highly motivated, dedicated and approachable
  • Possess outstanding verbal communication skills with the ability to liaise with customers & suppliers alike over the telephone and face to face whilst representing the business
  • Be professional & responsible at all times
  • Be operationally focused with the ability to think on your feet
  • Possess a great understanding of high quality customer care & have the ability to provide outstanding customer service
  • Be health & safety focused whilst keeping safeguarding at the forefront
  • Foreign language skills highly desirable but not essential (Italian, Spanish, French, German – highly desirable)
  • Have the ability to travel internationally to attend skiing tours
