This is a hybrid role based in our Manchester office, so you must be based within a commutable distance.

Tri Travel, part of Destination Sport Experiences, offers unforgettable trips built around the world’s most iconic triathlon events. They provide expertly curated packages for triathletes and their supporters, that include guaranteed race entries, premium accommodation, and on-the-ground support, so athletes can focus on the experience, not the logistics.

Following a period of exciting growth, Tri Travel is seeking a Senior Marketing Executive to help elevate its brand positioning and expand its market share. This is a varied, hands-on role and on a typical day you will:

  • Collaborate cross-functionally with the Marketing, Product teams, and external agencies to develop impactful customer communications.
  • Source and create content for use across digital and offline channels.
  • Manage and grow our social media presence, including content planning, community engagement, and performance reporting to drive reach and engagement.
  • Support paid media efforts: Partner with the Performance Manager to build and optimise paid social campaigns, with regular performance analysis. Work alongside the PPC Manager to develop and refine paid Google Ads campaigns, reporting on key metrics and outcomes.
  • Lead email marketing initiatives, including campaign creation, performance tracking, and database management.
  • Coordinate non-digital marketing activities, such as expos, outdoor advertising, and event support.
  • Contribute to partnership and sponsorship marketing, ensuring alignment with brand and campaign goals.
  • Optimise website content and performance from a marketing perspective: Collaborate with the Content Manager to implement SEO-driven strategies. Work with the Product team to ensure product content is effectively communicated across all channels.
  • Support PR efforts by working closely with our PR agency to maximise media opportunities.
  • Assist the Head of Marketing in managing vertical channels and relationships with publishing houses.

To be successful within this role, our ideal candidate will be:

  • A marketer with a flair for creativity and a track record of delivering successful, engaging campaigns.
  • Skilled in designing and producing content for email marketing, newsletters, and prospecting campaigns.
  • Eager to develop marketing skills further, with the ability to analyse campaign performance and report on return on investment.
  • Capable of managing multiple projects and meeting deadlines while aligning with team and stakeholder expectations.
  • Works collaboratively with the marketing team to support broader business objectives and growth strategies.
  • Proficient in writing and editing content across print, digital, and social media platforms, with excellent proofreading abilities.
  • Genuinely interested in emerging marketing technologies and communication techniques.
  • Demonstrate an interest in Triathlon is a plus, contributing to brand alignment and audience understanding.
  • Familiar with platforms such as WordPress, Later, Canva, Google Analytics, Instiller, Campaigner, or similar email marketing systems.
