Product Loading Specialist Sport Travel in Manchester

This role is based in our Manchester office, you must live within a commutable distance.

Destination Sport Experiences, through its global sports travel brands Marathon Tours Travel, Sportive Breaks, Tri Travel and HYROX Tours, cater for those who want to participate in the very best cycling, running, triathlon and HYROX events across the world. Each brand offers tours, travel packages, and guaranteed entry to marathons, cycling events, long-distance triathlons and HYROX events around the world, together with VIP hospitality access to many of the top professional cycling events as well as managing travel programs for mass participation events on behalf of charities, companies and groups throughout the year. We are a proud partner of many of the Abbott World Marathon Majors and work closely with major sports events organisers across the globe.

The team behind Destination Sport Experiences regularly participate in these events, as well as helping to manage events and support our clients on their journey through each event, so we understand the needs of those travelling with us.

For our Cycling, Running, Triathlon, HYROX Tours and custom programmes, we are looking for a Product Loading Specialist to join our existing product team to verify, load and manage product on our online booking platform. This role will involve liaising with our international teams in our UK, US and Australia based offices.

No two days are the same in this exciting role but on a typical day you will:

• Work alongside the product, operations sales teams to ensure product is loaded managed on the online booking system.
• Review sense check all product before upload to the booking system.
• Review content issued by product managers on Content Management System (CMS) to ensure consistency.
• Assist with inventory management.
• Ensure best practice is achieved in all processes.
• Be proactive with potential improvements on DAISY.
• Be involved in testing rolling out of new systems functions.
• Ensure all product is appropriately loaded correct including pricing content used.
• Liaise with system developers to report any faults bugs in various systems via Basecamp.
• Communicate any delays to the relevant team members departments.
• Assist the operations team with delivery of product by ensuring any required reports are available.
• Support Product Managers with updates for trading meetings any ad hoc support tasks.

To be successful within this role, our ideal candidate will:

• Have outstanding numerical, spelling grammar skills.
• Have great attention to detail.
• Be able to prioritise workload while working within multiple projects to sometimes tight deadlines.
• Possess strong organisation skills.
• Have the ability to analyse large amounts of data.
• Have strong knowledge of Microsoft Office applications including; Word, Outlook and demonstrating Intermediate to advanced Excel skills.
• Possess excellent communication skills both verbal written.
