About the Role

Destination Education is looking for a compassionate and dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to join a warm, inclusive Primary School in Redbridge. This full-time role is ideal for someone passionate about supporting children with additional needs and eager to make a meaningful impact in a nurturing school environment. You will be working closely with the SENCO, class teacher, and wider support team to provide tailored assistance to pupils who require extra support with their learning, communication, or emotional development.

The role may include working 1 : 1 with pupils who have EHCPs, supporting children with ASD, ADHD, speech and language needs, or social, emotional, and mental health challenges. The school is known for its strong pastoral support, friendly staff team, and commitment to ensuring that every child thrives both academically and personally.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide 1:1 and small-group support for pupils with SEN
• Assist in implementing EHCP targets and personalised learning plans
• Support pupils with communication, social skills, and emotional regulation
• Encourage positive behaviour and promote an inclusive classroom environment
