Destination Education is currently recruiting experienced SEN Teaching Assistants for a range of supportive and inclusive schools across Redbridge. We are working with primary schools and specialist provisions looking for dedicated SEN professionals who can provide high-quality support to pupils with additional needs. These opportunities are ideal for experienced Teaching Assistants who are passionate about helping children reach their full potential within a structured and nurturing environment.

The Role Includes:

  • Supporting pupils with Special Educational Needs on a 1:1 basis and in small groups
  • Assisting children with Autism (ASD), ADHD, speech and language needs, and behavioural challenges
  • Supporting the class teacher with lesson delivery and classroom management
  • Encouraging pupil engagement, confidence, and independence
  • Creating a positive, safe, and inclusive learning environment

You will work closely with class teachers, SENCOs, and wider school staff to support pupils with additional learning needs both inside and outside the classroom.
