The Role
We are looking for a motivated and ambitious Trainee Recruitment Consultant to join our team. This is an entry-level role with full training provided, offering a clear pathway into a Recruitment Consultant position. You will start by learning candidate resourcing, relationship building, and the fundamentals of recruitment, before progressing into a more client-facing consultant role as you develop. You will work closely with experienced consultants and directors, gaining hands-on experience from day one in a fast-paced, supportive environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Source and engage high-quality candidates for education roles
- Support the candidate journey from initial contact through to placement
- Build and maintain strong relationships with candidates
- Assist in filling vacancies across a range of schools
- Carry out candidate screening and compliance checks
- Support consultants with existing client relationships
- Maintain regular contact with candidates in placements
- Work closely with the team to meet daily and weekly targets
What a Typical Week Looks Like
- Resourcing candidates for active school roles
- Daily calls with candidates (screening, onboarding, relationship building)
- Supporting current placements and candidate care
- Learning recruitment processes and best practices
- Collaborating with the team on priorities and urgent roles
