The Role

We are looking for a motivated and ambitious Trainee Recruitment Consultant to join our team. This is an entry-level role with full training provided, offering a clear pathway into a Recruitment Consultant position. You will start by learning candidate resourcing, relationship building, and the fundamentals of recruitment, before progressing into a more client-facing consultant role as you develop. You will work closely with experienced consultants and directors, gaining hands-on experience from day one in a fast-paced, supportive environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Source and engage high-quality candidates for education roles
  • Support the candidate journey from initial contact through to placement
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with candidates
  • Assist in filling vacancies across a range of schools
  • Carry out candidate screening and compliance checks
  • Support consultants with existing client relationships
  • Maintain regular contact with candidates in placements
  • Work closely with the team to meet daily and weekly targets

What a Typical Week Looks Like

  • Resourcing candidates for active school roles
  • Daily calls with candidates (screening, onboarding, relationship building)
  • Supporting current placements and candidate care
  • Learning recruitment processes and best practices
  • Collaborating with the team on priorities and urgent roles

Working Hours

Term Time (39 weeks): 08:30 - 17:30

School Holidays (13 weeks): 09:00 - 14:00

Salary & Bonus

£26,000 - £32,500 basic salary
