Hello, and thanks for stopping by!
Here at Destination Education we work with many East London Secondary Schools who turn to us for Cover Supervisors almost every morning. As such, providing you're prepared to travel up to 45 minutes, we can keep you busy with 1, 2, 3, 4 or 5 days Cover work among the following schools:
- Morpeth School (E2 0PX) - Bethnal Green Station (Overground)
- Little Ilford School (E12 6JB) - Manor Park Station (TFL Rail / Elizabeth Line)
- George Greens School (E14 3DW) - Island Gardens DLR Station
- Regent High School (NW1 1RG) - Mornington Crescent or Kings Cross St Pancras Stations
- Francis Bardsley Academy (RM1 2RR) - Romford Station (Elizabeth Line / Overground)
- Emerson Park Academy (RM11 3AD) - Emerson Park Station (Overground)
- Valentines High School (IG2 6HX) - Gants Hill Station (Central Line)
Should even two or three of these schools be convenient for you to travel to, we could keep you busy with Cover in them. Most of our Cover Supervisors let me know their availability on a Friday for the following week, and I call them around 7am to offer work. Many of our Cover Supervisors have gone into these schools and made a great impression, and are pre-booked months in advance so they don't need to be up early to take my morning call.
Let's be honest, it's no one's preference to wait around from 7 till 7:30am to find out if they're needed in a school, but once you've committed to this process and introduced yourself to a few of our schools, they'll pre-book you for a week, two weeks, a month or even a term. We have countless examples of staff completing one successful day of Cover, then remaining in the school every day for term after term!
We pay our Cover Supervisors £120 per day (8:30 till 3:30) but our standards are high! Our essential criteria is as follows:
- You manage behaviour effectively by using the school behaviour policy
- You have experience as a Cover Supervisor (this isn't your first gig!)
- You are punctual and understand the importance of arriving on time
If you satisfy the criteria above, I'll quickly onboard you and will work with you to have your file cleared and compliant so I can promptly start offering you local work! I look forward to hearing from you.
