About the Role Destination Education is currently seeking enthusiastic and motivated Supply Primary School Teachers to work across a range of welcoming and supportive primary schools.
This role is particularly well suited to Early Career Teachers (ECTs) who are looking to gain valuable classroom experience while searching for their ideal permanent teaching position.
Supply teaching is a fantastic way to build confidence, develop your teaching practice across EYFS, KS1, and KS2, and experience a variety of school settings.
Whether you're looking for day-to-day supply or longer-term placements, you'll have the opportunity to strengthen your CV, expand your network, and secure valuable experience while finding the right school to begin your teaching career.
Key Responsibilities Deliver engaging pre-planned lessons across a variety of year groups.
Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that supports all learners.
Follow school policies and procedures effectively.
Maintain high standards of behaviour management and classroom organisation.
Adapt confidently to different school settings and teaching environments.
Ensure continuity of learning in the absence of the class teacher.
Provide clear feedback to school staff following each placement.
The Ideal Candidate Holds QTS or is an Early Career Teacher (ECT).
Has a passion for inspiring and supporting young learners.
Demonstrates strong classroom and behaviour management skills.
Is adaptable, reliable, and confident working across different primary school settings.
Has excellent communication and organisational skills.
