A veterinary practice is seeking a compassionate and motivated Associate Veterinarian to join its team. About the Role

  • Provide comprehensive medical, surgical, and preventive care for companion animals

  • Diagnose and treat a variety of medical conditions

  • Perform routine surgical and dental procedures

  • Collaborate with veterinary professionals and support staff to ensure exceptional patient care

  • Educate clients on wellness, preventive medicine, and treatment options

Responsibilities

  • Conduct physical examinations and diagnostic evaluations

  • Develop and implement treatment plans

  • Prescribe medications and monitor patient progress

  • Perform medical and surgical procedures appropriate to experience and training

  • Maintain accurate and detailed medical records

  • Provide compassionate guidance to clients regarding all stages of pet care

  • Support a positive, team-oriented hospital culture

Qualifications

  • Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM/VMD) degree from an accredited institution

  • Active veterinary license or eligibility for licensure

  • Strong clinical, communication, and interpersonal skills

  • Commitment to providing high-quality, patient-centered care

  • Ability to work effectively in a collaborative environment
