Responsibilities
- Undertake driving duties to transport both clients and deceased.
- Assist the Funeral Director on the day of the funeral to ensure all clients' wishes are met.
- Assist with the preparation and presentation of the deceased for viewing purposes.
- Ensure our premises and vehicles are maintained to an excellent standard at all times.
- Maintain a professional and dignified approach at all times.
- Able to follow clear and specific instructions from the Funeral Director.
- Arrange funerals in our funeral homes or in family homes.
- Prepare and deliver all time-sensitive relevant paperwork for funerals.
- Provide holiday and sickness cover for colleagues based at other funeral homes.
- Participate in our 24/7 call out rota.
Qualifications
- Must have a full clean driving license, and be 23 years plus for insurance purposes.
- Good computer skills.
- Good level of physical fitness as heavy lifting is required on a regular basis.
