We are looking for a sharp, self-starting paid social specialist to own performance marketing across Meta and drive profitable customer acquisition as we scale the UK, expand internationally, and launch new categories.

You will work directly with the founders and report to our Growth Lead, managing a £1.5m annual budget with real autonomy. This isn’t a role where you’ll be handed playbooks – you’ll write them. You’ll need to stay ahead of platform changes through your own curiosity and initiative, not agency decks.

What You’ll Do

  • Own day-to-day management and optimisation of Meta campaigns (90% of focus), with scope to test emerging channels.
  • Scale profitable new customer acquisition across UK, US, and international markets.
  • Analyse performance data to surface creative insights, then brief internal and external creative partners on new creative requirements.
  • Ensure all tagging/tracking/catalogue are set up correctly, and liaise with our development resource to fix if required.
  • Ensure budget pacing is aligned with targets, flagging opportunities to scale more aggressively, or pull back spend if required.
  • Proactively recommend new customer acquisition funnels and on-site optimisations to drive better platform performance.
  • Stay relentlessly up-to-date with Meta algorithm changes, best practices, and emerging opportunities – through self-directed learning, not agency hand-me-downs.
  • Support new category launches with tailored acquisition strategies.
  • Report on performance and present findings to leadership with clarity and confidence.

What You’ll Bring

  • 2-4 years’ hands-on experience in paid social, either agency-side or in-house.
  • Deep expertise in Meta Business Manager – you know your way around campaign structures, bidding strategies, and creative testing.
  • Experience in premium, fashion, or lifestyle brands (DTC preferred).
  • Comfortable with Shopify, GA4, and ideally Motion for creative analytics.
  • Ability to translate data into actionable creative briefs – you don’t need to design, but you need to know what’s working and why.
  • Genuine curiosity about new platforms and a hunger to experiment.

Who You Are

You thrive in fast-paced environments where things change quickly. You’re self-starting, curious, and never satisfied with ‘good enough’. You find genuine fulfilment in hitting goals – and you don’t stop pushing until you do. You take ownership, solve problems before they’re handed to you, and bring energy to everything you do. This role suits someone who wants to make a real impact at a scaling brand, not someone looking for process and predictability.

Why Desmond & Dempsey

  • Work directly with the founders on strategic growth decisions.
  • Own UK and international expansion from the inside.
  • Shape acquisition strategy for new category launches.
  • Join a profitable, growing business with genuine ambition.
  • Hybrid working – 3 days in our London office.
  • Be part of a team that moves fast and celebrates wins together.
