A social impact agency is looking for a passionate, driven and strategic Marketing Manager to oversee marketing campaigns and ensure programmes create genuine brand and social impact by reaching, engaging and converting key audiences. The agency is a leader in delivering fully-integrated and creative multi-channel campaigns to build advocacy for brands amongst young people, with a core focus on reaching young people directly and via teachers, parents and the wider community.

The ideal candidate will have experience in designing multi-channel, integrated marketing and communications strategies utilising a deep understanding of key audiences (young people, teachers, parents, youth workers, employees and wider consumers). From upfront strategy and planning to optimal channel mixes and creative ideation against channel selection, you will help drive the success of marketing initiatives for clients.

You will have a passion for storytelling and an understanding of the importance of creative with knowledge of key channel formats and best practices. You will also have experience delivering activity from end-to-end including working with creatives to develop marketing content for key channels, activity execution, optimisation, reporting and evaluation. You will share learnings from live campaigns and your experience to support managing a team of digital experts who are primarily focused on campaign execution.

In this role, you will additionally support the Marketing & Communications Lead in establishing key processes and ways of working and building team visibility within the business. You will also input in new business opportunities and pitches, supporting the team to win client work and promote the full range of services offered by the department.

This role demands a strong grounding in marketing strategy and campaign management and is perfect for an experienced marketeer seeking to make a measurable impact. You will contribute to marketing strategy development, oversee multi-channel campaign delivery, and champion best practices in data-driven decision-making, creative storytelling, and budget management within the team and wider business.

Candidates with the following experience will be prioritised for interview:

  • Proven years experience in a similar role and level, including experience working agency side.
  • Demonstrable success in developing and executing marketing and communications strategies that have achieved measurable results.
  • Proficiency across core marketing channels and tools, including social, search, email, partnerships, influencer, and analytics platforms.
  • Strong understanding of audience segmentation, channel selection, targeting, and retargeting.
  • Extensive experience in delivering email marketing (preferably Dot Digital or similar) with expertise in using dynamic fields and personalisation.
  • Extensive experience in paid social, with hands-on experience of Meta (essential), TikTok, Twitter and Google Ads.
  • Experience managing and mentoring teams, fostering a collaborative and high-performance work culture.
  • Ability to think strategically and translate business objectives into actionable marketing plans and initiatives.
  • Experience collaborating across departments, including New Business, Client Services, Strategy, and Creative teams to align marketing efforts with overall client goals.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and metrics, derive insights, and adjust marketing strategies accordingly for continuous improvement.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including clients, partners, and influencers.
