Hello. We Are DesignScene. We craft design‑led events and experiential marketing campaigns for brands worldwide. We are looking to expand our team with a Senior Production Manager with a minimum of 5 years' agency experience and at least 2 years in a similar role. This is an exciting opportunity for a Senior Production Manager to work with a talented global team on hugely creative and innovative projects. Our major international clients include Amazon, Braze, Snap, Roku and Live Nation, for whom we activate worldwide. Domestic and International travel will therefore be essential. Versatility is also key in this role – you will have proven IRL and virtual event experience and be happy to work across different project types, with a flexibility of approach to ensure the delivery team are supported and the project is delivered to our high standards.
Job Overview
You will work alongside the studio, producer and production teams to deliver the day‑to‑day production management of large‑scale projects worldwide to an exceptional standard, maintaining the high production values of DesignScene. You will be a hands‑on production manager with a proven ability to build collaborative relationships internally, and externally with clients and suppliers. The ideal candidate will have a natural and genuine passion for technical innovation, an outstanding record of delivering projects internationally, and excellent management and organisational skills. Practical skills in a technical production discipline are an advantage.

ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES
What do you have to achieve?
- Satisfied clients
- Proactive production management and delivery of projects through the triple constraints of cost, time, and quality
- Co‑ordinate the on‑site execution of projects including set‑ups and de‑rigs
- Conduct site surveys and obtain or commission detailed CAD drawings as required
- Conduct relevant research and take part in creative brainstorms with the team
- Ensure all deadlines, both internal and client‑led, are met
- Efficient production management from design to delivery
- Ensure warehouse standards and stock levels are maintained
- Manage deliveries and collections, including load‐lists
- Effective and cost‑efficient supplier management
- Efficient and effective pre‑production planning
- Commercially successful projects – work closely with project lead to feed in costs and manage the production aspect of the budget
Job Activities – what do you have to do?
- Lead the production management process on your projects, and support the team on their projects as required
- Manage the on‑site production delivery, including client liaison
- Interrogate and assess the production feasibility of client briefs
- Oversee the smooth and efficient running of the warehouse, ensuring all operational issues are resolved with speed
- Work with the producers to manage project budgets, taking responsibility for the production costs
- Communicate regularly with the internal team to ensure they are up to date and fully engaged
- Conduct detailed site surveys and on‑site supplier briefings
- Build collaborative relationships, internally and externally
- Contract and manage suppliers, including cost negotiation
- Complete project reconciliation, including expenses, to meet deadlines
- Stay informed of industry news and champion new products and technology
- Produce detailed production schedules and other project documentation as required
- Manage the H&S process, collating third‑party information and contracting H&S specialists if required
- Hold supplier debriefs with the project team to take forward any learnings
- Guide junior team members through internal processes
- Deal with stress points efficiently and effectively, flagging any critical issues to senior management
