About You
The Senior Social Media Executive at DesignMyNight is a driven, motivated and organised member of the B2C marketing team. They are passionate about creating content that drives brand engagement and traffic, linking back to conversion value for the business.
They are confident on current social media channels, with day-to-day responsibilities including high-volume content creation, seamless content management, scheduling, reporting and data analysis. They enjoy working as part of a team, growing their own expertise, and taking pride in learning about the tools they use. This person works collaboratively with other members of the business across a multitude of avenues, from marketing campaigns and client relationships to day-to-day coordination with the Social Media Lead and Senior Marketing & PR Manager.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years social media experience within a B2C business or brand.
- Fantastic copywriting skills.
- Familiar with social SEO and best practice.
- Strong video-editing skills with an eye for trending sounds and USP-led copy.
- Experience with Meta advertising covering conversion improvement, asset creation, general campaign delivery and data analytics.
- Ability to spot trends and culture moments early and react with engaging brand-appropriate content.
- Unmatched organisational skills and ability to stay on top of deadlines.
- Analytical mindset, with the ability to see through data and adapt to new tools with growth in mind.
- Data-driven, ensuring all content drives value by reviewing historic successes and matching plans to audience engagement.
- Ability to identify and action quick wins that result in better processes and results.
Responsibilities
- Content: Planning, creation, management and scheduling across static and video. Be integral to the team when organising future content plans, ensuring the ship runs smoothly with content actioned weeks (and even months) in advance.
- Video Creation: Experienced in producing high volumes of video content. Confident planning and attending shoots in London at least one day per week, as well as attending media preview nights to capture exclusives. Skilled in editing footage, recording voice-overs, and writing SEO-optimised copy to support output.
- Engagement & Audience Growth: Protecting and growing social engagement across Facebook, Instagram and TikTok, ensuring all content drives value and reaches internal benchmarks while simultaneously driving platform growth.
- Traffic KPIs: Growing clicks to ensure DesignMyNight hits its monthly and yearly traffic targets.
- Content Adaptation: Ability to create content based on each platform’s needs that reflect brand guidelines and values.
- Reporting: Confident in reporting across social activity using various tools on a month-by-month and yearly basis.
- External Relationships: Work alongside external agencies, brands and clients on social media marketing – e.g. competitions, collaborative posts and projects that drive the business’s KPIs.
- Scheduling: Scheduling social media content using data on best times to post, appropriate software and monitoring tools.
- Community Management: Building a community on DesignMyNight’s socials that drives engagement and brand loyalty.
- Testing: Review underperforming content (static and video) and provide clear suggestions on next steps to increase engagement.
- Influencer Relationships: Own external social media relationships with influencers by building connections, creating meaningful partnerships and reporting on data successes.
